The more obvious signs for spotting house mice can be irregular spots of gnawing marks, small piles of feaces in different locations. Mice are known for big ears and large eyes are substantially smaller then your average  brown and black rat.

The American Mink, another nonnative species to the UK. Commonly mistaken for the Otter. The American mink has a carnivorous diet depending on environment, from fish and eggs to small birds.

A Nonnative species to the UK the grey squirrel was brought over in the 1900s. Destroying the population of the native red squirrel, it is our job to ensure population control.  Coming in various sizes the normal habitat for these agile forager's are loft spaces, chimneys, bird feeders, etc.
